Indoor Environmental/Air Quality Testing

Conducting indoor air and environmental investigations can be difficult to identify and correct, as they require a comprehensive understanding of the many factors that can affect indoor air. ALTEC has evaluated many types of buildings, facilities and environments to identify problems, determine their causes, and recommend corrective actions following EPA, ASHRAE and ACGIH guidelines and procedures. These assessments can consist of evaluation of potential sources, personnel activities, building materials/structure, pressure differentials and HVAC systems. Our certified and experienced industrial hygiene personnel use specialized instruments to measure and quantify indoor air contaminants including, but not limited to, testing for mold, formaldehyde, bacteria, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), total and respirable particulates, ammonia, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide or other potential contaminants.
