Wetland Determination, Delineation and Permitting

ALTEC has conducted numerous wetland determinations and delineations at various types of sites in Louisiana and Mississippi, including residential subdivisions, law enforcement facilities, lakes, golf courses and former sewage treatment lagoons.

Upon determining whether or not wetlands are present on the site (subject to USACE jurisdiction under Section 404 or Section 10), a permit must be obtained from the USACE for the proposed activities. Depending on the nature and extent of the wetland impacts a General Permit (Nationwide or Regional) or Individual Permit may be required.

ALTEC's staff is experienced in conducting wetland determinations and delineation of wetlands, preparing Application for Department of the Army Permits and coordinating with the US Army Corps of Engineers, other agencies and tribal governments for proposed activities that may impact jurisdictional wetlands.
