Environmental Assessments for Compliance with NEPA

ALTEC professionals have prepared detailed Environmental Assessments (EA) for compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). ALTEC has completed numerous NEPA documents and environmental checklists for state and federally funded projects and for grant applications for community development projects. ALTEC's NEPA-related services include preparation of checklists for initial project studies, impact analysis, and completion of Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) documents. Local, state, and federal regulatory agencies including wildlife and fisheries, archaeology divisions, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are contacted to assist in the determination of impact. ALTEC can coordinate wetland determinations and evaluate impact to wetlands when necessary.
