David Williamson - Professional Geologist
Mr. Williamson has 10 years of diverse experience as a geological and environmental consultant, 17 years experience in the management of energy resource development with an electric utility company and 5 years of experience as a field geologist with a state geological survey. He is experienced in mineral resource exploration, including drilling, coring, quality sampling, geophysical logging, log interpretation and geologic mapping; mineral reserve evaluation and project management.
Mr. Williamson has managed multi-disciplinary environmental projects in support of NEPA compliance, conducted Phase I and II environmental site assessments, performed land use surveys, conducted historic building surveys, supervised cultural resource surveys, coordinated with regulatory agencies and provided litigation support. He worked on the Louisiana Office of Conservation Ad Hoc Committee to develop surface coal mining regulations. Mr. Williamson was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Advisory Board for the Louisiana Geological Survey.
Mr. Williamson received a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. He is a Registered Professional Geologist in Alabaman, Arkansas, Georgia and Mississippi and a Geoscientist in Texas.
