Roy W. Dowling, PhD - President

Dr. Dowling has over 20 years of experience in the environmental field and has provided project management for many complex and challenging remediation projects.

Dr. Dowling was employed at Louisiana Tech University for approximately 13 years as an Assistant Professor of both Chemistry and Engineering. During the last seven years of his tenure at the university, he was the Environmental Health and Safety Director. Since that time he has worked at ALTEC Environmental Consultants, Inc.

He has been an environmental trainer for over 17 years in the areas of asbestos, lead, HAZWOPER, OSHA topics, and chemical-specific hazards.

He has an extensive background in asbestos and lead project management. Dr. Dowling holds asbestos supervisor, inspector, management planner, project designer, trainer, and consultant certifications in various states.

He also holds lead supervisor, inspector, risk assessor, and trainer certifications.

He has completed expert testimony support for numerous legal cases involving a wide variety of disciplines.

Dr. Dowling has Bachelor Degrees in Chemistry and Civil Engineering, a Masters Degree in Chemistry, and a PhD Degree in Environmental Engineering.
